ROOST RESORT INFORMATION & POLICIES
GENERAL POLICIES FOR ALL:
Office Hours: 3 PM until all guest arrivals are completed, not to exceed 8 pm. We are reachable by telephone (605) 673-2326 up until 8 pm if you should need assistance during your stay.
CHECK IN TIMES:
RV Sites: 3:00 pm
Cabins: 4:00 pm
CHECK OUT TIME: 10 am for all sites and cabins

All guests are required to register at the office before checking into your RV site or Cabin.
The Roost Resort is a private facility, we DO NOT host non-registered guests.
Side by sides/ATV”S are NOT permitted on the property, please do not bring them.
No group reservations.
All building’s are non-smoking.
Property speed limit not to exceed 5 mph.
Fireworks are prohibited.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
Campfires in designated fire rings only.
No parking on the grass UNLESS it is a designated parking area.
NO CALL, NO SHOW RESERVATIONS WILL BE CHARGED FULL RENTAL PRICE.
No refunds for early departures.
**Chuckwagon area is for owners private use.
The Roost Resort is privately owned and the owners reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We also have the right to cancel a reservation for any policy violation without a refund. We will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests and/or loss of money, jewelry, or other valuables of any kind. Guests will be responsible for property damage.
Warning: Under South Dakota Law, a private campground owner or an employee or officer of a private campground owner is not liable for an injury to or the death of a person or any property damage resulting in the inherent risks of camping.
CABIN GUEST SPECIFIC POLICIES:
1 assigned parking space is included with each cabin rental. Additional vehicles/trailers will incur a $10.00/day charge. (Additional parking is NOT guaranteed)
Cabins are to be used ONLY by the REGISTERED occupants of THAT cabin. This includes the kitchen and BBQ grills. (In other words, no preparing and serving meals for family/friends staying in the campground)
Occupancy limits must be adhered to at all times due to fire code restrictions.
Upon check out, dishes are to be washed and put away and all trash is to be removed prior to checking out. Additional cleaning fees may be levied and charged to your credit card. We appreciate you cleaning up after yourself and leaving the kitchens as you found them.
Guests are responsible for any breakage or damage occurred during their stay. This includes but is not limited to a “host fix it fee”. This also includes stained linens.
Pets are NOT allowed in the cabins. (Exceptions are made for our camping cabins 8 & 11 and are limited to 1 dog 50 lbs and under) Please pick up after them.
Since we are a MA/PA establishment, we CANNOT offer a late check out. Late check outs on all cabins will result in a late fee of $25.00 starting at the 10:00 am check out time. There will be an additional $25.00 applied for each half hour after that of delayed departure. (No Exceptions)
RV GUEST SPECIFIC POLICIES
ALL RV’ers please pull to the right and STOP at the stop sign on the black top road. Walk to the office for directions and guidance to your campsite. DO NOT PULL IN ONTO THE GRAVEL ROAD AND BLOCK TRAFFIC. You will be asked to back up onto the black top road.
1 vehicle and 1 RV is included with RV rental sites. Additional vehicles/trailers will incur a $10.00/day charge. (Parking is not guaranteed)
Pets are allowed in all RV sites FREE of charge. (Limit 2) Please pick up after them.
No tents by RV sites.
RV’s are not permitted on the road that circles A-frame cabins 1-5. Road is narrow and damage to property may occur.
Late checkouts on all RV and tent sites will result in a late fee of $10.00 starting at our 10:00 am check out time. (We do allow a 30-minute grace period) There will be an additional $10.00 applied for every 30 minutes of delayed departure.
****Surge protectors are HIGHLY recommended. They protect us, and they protect you. We offer 30/20 AMP only. No towables over 35 feet.
